Fiona Yu

Fiona Yu is a postdoctoral researcher in the COMP3D group. She completed her PhD studies in computer science at The Australian National University which focused on accelerating computational chemistry algorithms. This included both quantum chemical and molecular mechanical approaches. During her PhD she was also part of the 2024 Gordon Bell winning group, performing molecular dynamics simulations at the post HF level of theory on a 1 million electron system. Her research interests lie in the intersection between computer science and chemistry.
